The acquisitive e-learning software developer Redtray provides online training programmes for clients that include the NHS, BBC and Deloitte. The Surrey company also delivers bespoke instructor-led courses, which account for about 50% of its turnover. Co-founder and chief executive Bob Woodland has grown the company through a series of acquisitions including, most recently, the training firm Q6 in 2007. An expanding client base and an aggressive sales drive have boosted sales 117% a year from £759,000 in 2004 to £7.7m in 2007.
