This Woking company provides online payment processing and fraud prevention for clients that include Tesco and John Lewis. It also supplies cards that allow employees to buy petrol for company cars, and it was recently employed by the Australian government to produce a prepaid card for social-security payments to ensure benefits are being spent on food and necessities. The firm was taken private in 2006 when chief executive Carl Clump led a £168m buyout backed by Palamon Capital. Sales have grown 82% a year from £31.7m in 2004 to an annualised £190m in 2007.
