Joint chief executives Adam Minto, 48, and Tom Allsworth, 53, launched their first Makeup Revolution product in 2014. The Kent firm sells its cosmetics at affordable prices — lipstick starts at £1 — and has built its brand through social media marketing. International sales hit £41.8m in 2017, the same year US private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners took a minority stake. Revolution says it launches a new product every week, all of which are certified cruelty-free.
