In 2002 former Oracle employees Martin Mutch and Kenny Wilson set up this company to provide advice on selecting, installing and optimising Oracle software. In addition, Rocela offers clients the opportunity to outsource the administration of their databases and applications. A tool that helps organisations ensure their software licences are up to date has also proved popular with customers. Rocela’s sales grew 41% a year, from £10.6m in 2007 to £29.5m in 2010, and the company is now considering branching out into non-Oracle technologies.
