This Yorkshire firm says it is the third largest manufacturer of ice cream in the world. It makes products for numerous retailers and has licence agreements with Nestlé, Mondelez and Cadbury. Ibrahim Najafi, 57, was named chief executive in 2013 after French private-equity firm PAI Partners acquired the business for £715m. R&R has since bought an Australian ice cream maker for £250m and Nestlé South Africa’s ice cream business for an undisclosed sum. International sales hit £478.1m in 2014.
