The payroll services provider Safeguard World International was started in 2007 when founder Bjorn Reynolds, 37, bought the loss-making global payroll division of Safeguard World. Under Reynolds, the Cheshire company has expanded to offer services, mainly payroll processing, in 99 countries. Sales, which represent net fee income, grew as it opened offices in America in 2009, India in 2011 and Mexico in 2012, and it is eyeing growth in Brazil. Its customers are companies that operate in many countries and they include Google, eBay, Amazon, Warner Brothers and Fedex.
