According to SafeStone’s chief executive, John Todd, nearly three quarters of all breaches of company security are internal. A common Achilles heel is the password of a former employee. It is time-consuming and costly for an administrator to remove these, so SafeStone has launched a package that automates this process. The company’s sales have increased 55% a year from an annualised £1.5m in 2000 to £3.6m in 2002, when SafeStone made a significant loss.
