When the pandemic hit, this luxury womenswear designer decided to pause its planned collections. Instead it brought out an archive collection of 130 previous pieces, helping it to work around disruption to its supply chain. Run by founder Saloni Lodha, 38, from her home in Hong Kong, the London-based brand creates colourful womenswear, with dresses usually retailing from about £400. Founded in 2011, its sales climbed to £11.6m in 2019, driven by demand in North America, Europe and Asia; in the UK, it sells primarily through luxury websites MatchesFashion and Net-a-Porter. It experimented with a pop-up shop in London last year and hopes to open more of these in 2021.
