Based on an idea that had already proved successful on the Continent, holds flash sales for its 3.4m registered users, helping well-known brands to sell their excess stock. The company was founded in 2006 by the Kukadia brothers Nish, 32, and Sachin, 30. In 2012 it attracted £6.3m from a consortium led by Pentech Ventures, and it raised a further £4.5m from its investors in April. Sales reached £18.2m in 2013.
