Since its foundation in 2005 by drilling engineer James McCallum, it has acquired seven businesses, grown to 570 staff and opened offices in Norway, North America, the Middle East, southeast Asia and Australia. International sales grew 43% a year, from £6.9m in 2009 to £14m in 2011.
