This London firm, launched in 2013, is the latest in a series of taxi-related ventures for founder and chief executive Asher Moses, 55. Its fleet of luxury electric taxis is rented to self-employed drivers, but Sherbert also employs drivers to offer its “Ride” service of chauffeured cars. It uses vehicle recording and tracking to help advertising clients, such as the fashion giant Boohoo, monitor where their campaigns have most impact. Sales hit £6.6m last year after it bought Putney Bridge Taxis, the latest in a number of acquisitions. The business plans to launch convenient electric vehicle charging points in London and to expand overseas.
