One of Northern Ireland’s biggest companies, SHS Group consists of 10 businesses with operations including brand ownership, manufacturing, sales and marketing, and market research. The group’s main focus is food and drink products, and it owns brands including WKD, Farmlea, and Gordons Fine Foods. It also owns Merrydown, the previously listed company behind Merrydown Cider and Shloer soft drinks. It is owned by founders Geoff Salters and Joe Sloan, and led by managing director Michael Howard. Sales reached £400.1m in 2007.
