Having sold their IT integration business in 1999, David Thompson and Rob Leggett set up this firm in 2001 as a wireless technology re-seller and consultancy. The Basingstoke business imports wi-fi products from around the world and bundles them for its re-seller partners, alongside offering consultancy and integration services. Siracom has primarily focused on promoting Meru Networks products to the UK education sector, and is also developing new wireless infrastructure to be compatible with Apple products. Sales have grown 50% a year, from £2.3m in 2008 to £7.8m in 2011.
