Under co-founder and chief executive Gareth Williams, 47, the Edinburgh company has opened offices in Europe, the US and Asia, and its services are now available in more than 30 languages. In January, Skyscanner raised £128m from investors including Artemis and Yahoo! Japan, which set the company’s value at more than £1bn. Sales in 2015 hit £119.7m, boosted by a 60% increase in mobile traffic, helping the company to a seventh consecutive appearance in Tech Track 100.
