Customers including Toshiba, Chubb and removals firm Pickfords are among those who have turned to Bristol’s Smart Traffic to optimise their websites for search engines. The company was founded by Andrew Birt, Ben Neve and Simon Carpenter, and now provides its services in 25 countries, as well as selling white label search-optimised websites. Sales increased 68% a year from £1.3m in 2009 to £6.2m in 2012, and it has recently opened a London office.
