Demand from Europe and the US prompted Sovrin to invest £4.5m in its Slough headquarters – its new 43,000 sq ft plant opened last year. Founded in 1969 by chief executive Peter Joiner, 73, the firm makes precision plastics including syringes and medical devices for the healthcare industry. Exports hit £4.2m in 2014.
