Established in 1999 as a knitwear house by Rajesh Passi, 61, this Manchester firm now produces clothing for UK retailers such as Next, River Island and Tesco. It also sells its own brands, including Tokyo Laundry, Le Shark and Dissident, to wholesalers and high-street retailers in Europe, Australia and the US, generating exports of £22.3m in 2015. The clothes are designed in the UK and made in China and Bangladesh.
