Telford’s Stadco is one of Britain’s largest suppliers of pressed sheet metal parts for the automotive sector: the business runs four sites in Britain and has operations in Germany and India. Alongside stampings and pressings it also covers all aspects of product development, from styling to production design, and from niche to high volume. It is led by chief executive Greg Macleod, 55. Following the close of our research, Stadco was bought by Canadian firm Magna International for an undisclosed sum.
