Inspired by seeing Spanish artisans crafting fine leather goods, husband-and- wife team Leeanne, 47, and Guy Hundleby, 48, launched their own leather handbag business in 2012. Instantly identifiable by a signature metal bar, its bags came to public attention when the Duchess of Sussex was spotted with one on her 2017 UK engagement tour. The Edinburgh-based company manufactures all its products in Spain and makes most of its sales online — using social media marketing and influencers to help promote the brand. Strong demand from North America and China has seen sales reach £11.8m this year. A new store is due to open in Shanghai this month, and another in London next year, bringing the total number of outlets to five.
