Rami Ranger, 66, set up his wholesale business in 1995, distributing food and other products to stores mainly in the Middle East and Africa. Sun Mark makes its own ranges and distributes on behalf of multinationals, including Unilever, Kraft and Heinz. This year it became the first company to win The Queen’s Award for International Trade for five years in a row. Sales rose 31% to £142.3m in 2012.
