Coconut oil from Sri Lanka and wheatgrass from China are among the 70 organic superfoods imported by this Bath business. Originally established as a wholesale supplier to the health food sector, the company now supplies Holland & Barrett and Waitrose with a range of its most popular superfoods, sold in re-sealable pouches. Founded in 2010 by managing director Martin Kemp, 60, the company has benefited from rising demand for healthy, natural foods to generate sales of £12.5m this year. In June, private equity firm Lonsdale Capital Partners took a stake of an undisclosed size in the business.
