TC Harrison started as a Ford dealership in 1932, and the core business remains the sale of about 9,000 new and used Ford cars a year from its six dealerships in the East Midlands. It also sells Ford vans, Iveco trucks and JCB construction equipment, and operates commercial vehicle leasing along with accident repair and servicing. Under founder’s grandchildren Jonathan, James and William Harrison, sales reached £216.6m in 2008, though the economic climate is hitting its bottom line.
