Technoworld set up four new UK warehouses last year to help speed up logistics after a spike in demand as people were required to work from home. It sold 72 per cent more laptops from April to September than in the same period in 2019, and profits in the year to September 2020 rose to £9 million. It has also been supplying schools with equipment to assist with home learning. Based in northwest London, the company provides servers, printers and other equipment from brands such as HP, Dell and Microsoft. It was founded in 1995 by chief executive Paresh Pau, 55.
