An early move to round-the-clock online booking, combined with flying from small airports such as Aberdeen and Norwich to sunshine destinations, including Malaga and the Canary Islands, has pushed up sales for this tour operator. It sells flights to individuals and more than 400 travel agencies from Kwik Travel to Lastminute.com and claims to have increased passenger numbers from 3,000 in 2000 to 85,000 a year today. This has driven up sales 72% a year, from £3m in 2001 to £15.2m in 2004, though profit margins are slim. The firm was founded by Neil Chapman.
