In 2003 Tim Radford sold Project Telecom, a telecoms reseller, to Vodafone for £162m. In 2004 he founded Timico, which handles IP connectivity, IT support, web hosting and voice services for homeworkers and businesses, giving them a single point of contact and one bill. Last year the company acquired Twang.net, which supplies computing services to teleworkers employed by BP and Vodafone. It has also recently won contracts from Honda and the Stroke Association. Sales have risen 82% a year from £3.4m in 2005 to £20.4m in 2008. The company’s ambition is to hit £100m by 2013.
