Founded in 1995 by Roy Clegg, the company has boosted its sales 67% a year from £8.1m in 1999 to £37.4m in 2002. It also provides non-standard products, such as insuring a Sherman tank for on-road use as part of an advertising campaign. The driver paid £1,000 a day for the cover.
