Tragus

Tragus owns the Café Rouge, Bella Italia and Strada restaurant chains, which serve 21m meals from their 287 restaurants across Britain each year. The company’s outlets can be found in high streets, airports and at Center Parcs holiday villages. The company also owns a number of smaller brands, from tapas bars to Belgian-style brasseries, and is now trying out an express format of Café Rouge at Euston station. Blackstone backed a £267m tertiary buyout from LGV Capital in 2006, and annualised sales reached £272.1m in 2010 under chief executive Graham Turner.
