Founded in 1970 by former SAS officer Mike Gooley, 82, to sell discount trips to Australia, the company has evolved to offer tailor-made travel across the globe from 37 travel centres in the UK and Ireland. Sales reached £795m in 2018, representing the gross value of air tickets, hotels and other services.
