This Gloucestershire company was founded in 2009 by brothers Andrew, 44, and Nick Wright, 41, together with Brian Cooke, 53. It connects clients — including Schneider Electric, Quintain and Berkeley Homes — to the electricity grid. Its recent projects have included the Barclays global hub in London, which was completed with no loss of power at any time. The company’s sales rose to an annualised £17m last year, with overseas projects in areas such as the Caribbean, Middle East and Africa constituting up to 10% of business. It opened an office in London this year and is planning a third near Birmingham.
