The company’s proprietary social video platform enables it find the best distribution channels for videos to reach target audiences. Based in London, Unruly counts media agencies under parent companies like WPP and Omnicom as customers. Sales grew 158% a year from £1m in 2009 to £17.6m in 2012, bolstered by organic growth. Amadeus Capital, Van den Ende and Deitmers, and the Business Growth Fund invested £15m in January 2012.
