Founded in 1970 to make animal nutrition products, the company has expanded into the health and food markets, and sells whey protein under the Upbeat brand. The third-generation family firm is led by chief executive James Neville, 49, alongside brothers David, 47, and Mark, 40, and exports reached an annualised £160.7m in 2014.
