Chairman Peter Wood headed the buyout of Westover in 1984. Since then the business has grown from a modest Austin Rover dealership to a multi-franchise enterprise with 18 showrooms in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire. The business has grown through a series of acquisitions, including the purchase of Olympian Automotive Group in 2006 and George Hartwell in 2008. In 2009 sales reached £152.1m.
