Fast Track 100

Sports clothes and equipment from this company is now sold online in more than 70 countries. Its 25,000 products include bikes, cycling accessories and triathlon gear. Founded in 1999, the Portsmouth firm is now headed by chief executive Humphrey Cobbold and is about to open a second warehouse to meet demand, particularly from its fast-growing export market, which now exceeds domestic sales. Isis Equity Partners acquired a 42% stake for £12m in 2006, later increasing this to 48%, and recent reports suggest it is up for sale for £200m. Benefiting from cycling’s heightened profile around the world, sales have accelerated 53% a year, from £24.2m in 2008 to £86.8m in 2011.
