This distiller has been making whisky in Scotland since 1886 and produces the world’s biggest selling single-malt whisky, Glenfiddich. Last year it won a deal to distribute Remy Cointreau brands across the UK. Sales reached £495.7m in 2007. Stella David, formerly chief marketing officer at Bacardi, took over as chief executive in August.
