This car dealership began life more than a century ago as the Williams Wheelwright Works in Manchester, repairing horse-drawn vehicles. Its first showroom opened in 1960 and it now has 12 in northwest England selling Land Rover, BMW and Mini cars. As an authorised BMW dealership, it says it was also one of the first in the world to sell the electric BMW I cars. Nick Cook, 62, is managing director.
