Willmott Dixon Group

Willmott Dixon used 4,000 pairs of recycled jeans to insulate a primary school it built recently in Sheffield. The company also builds city academies, leisure centres, supermarkets, offices and residential projects, counting Morrisons and Whitbread among its customers. Set up in 1852, the Hertfordshire firm is predominantly owned by the founding Willmott family, the Dixon family and the senior management team, including group chairman Colin Enticknap. Sales were £359.3m in 2006.
