Headquartered in Westminster, this company supplies specialist metals and alloys to the aerospace, electronics and steel sectors among others, but it also has a large Chinese division with offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Its name is derived from the Mandarin word “wu-jin”, meaning five metals. There is also a South African subsidiary. Chairman Colin Williams founded Wogen in 1972 and floated it on AIM in 2005. However, the company delisted in October 2010, posting sales of £176.8m that year.
