This Belfast firm was founded in 1896 as a grain merchant, but now also has interests in oils and molasses as well as packaging, animal feeds, storage and horse breeding. Last year, it bought the Cardboard Box Company to augment its packaging businesses, which operate under the Logson Group name. The family-owned company is chaired by fourth generation Robert Barnett, 75, and his son William, 42, is chief executive.
