Founder Andrew Killingsworth, 53, started his plus-sized ladies clothing business from a Leighton Buzzard market stall. He now has more than 70 UK stores and plans to open one every two weeks this year. The business has a growing franchise operation in the Middle East and is looking at further overseas markets, such as Germany and Australia. Some 30% of its clothing is manufactured in the UK and the company launched a menswear range earlier this year. Profits reached £2.7m in 2014.
