The 20th anniversary Sunday Times Sage Tech Track 100 awards dinner was held as an interactive virtual event on 3 November 2020, with Alex Chesterman OBE, founder of Zoopla, and founder & chief executive of Cazoo interviewed by Oliver Shah, business editor of The Sunday Times, and a keynote from Poppy Gustafsson OBE, co-founder & chief executive of Darktrace.
Our 280 guests heard from our speakers about how they have rapidly built unicorn companies, and how they have responded to the pandemic. Oliver Shah led a Q&A, including questions from our guests.
Guests then took part in small, virtual breakout discussion groups, sharing their thoughts on the challenges and opportunities presented by the pandemic.
All companies on the league table received an award certificate, and sponsors presented 7 special awards for excellence.
The event was co-hosted by Hamish Stevenson, founder of Fast Track, and by our sponsors, Sage, Barclays, BDO, BGF and N+1 Singer; and our media partner The Sunday Times.
