BGF is the UK’s most active provider of growth capital in small and mid-sized businesses.
BGF makes initial investments of between £2m and £10m in privately-owned and AIM listed companies with turnover between £5m and £100m, across all sectors except financial services. The money it provides is used by companies to progress their growth plans, which may include making acquisitions, rolling out new stores, expanding overseas and more. BGF provides long-term, minority equity investment and access to a huge network and support.
BGF Ventures focusses on earlier stage technology companies, typically making initial investments of between £1m and £6m.
