Co-founders Gavin Raeburn, Trevor Williams and Ralph Fulton started this Leamington Spa-based games developer in 2010. The company’s Forza Horizon racing series, which it produces for Microsoft, is renowned for its realistic graphics. It ranked at No 96 in the 2016 Sunday Times Tech Track 100.
What inspired you to start your business?
A lifelong wish to build one of the most respected and successful independent development studios in the world.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Attracting quality hires at the rate we need them. This is our biggest limiter of growth.
What has been your best business decision?
Partnering with Microsoft for our first project, Forza Horizon, which was published in 2012 by Microsoft, for the Xbox 360 console
What has been your worst business decision?
Dabbling in mobile app development, which is a great way to lose money.
Which business leader would you most like to share a meal with, and why?
Donald Trump. I bet he has some stories to tell, and he’d probably tell them.
What company do you most admire, and why?
Virgin for their can-do attitude and the fearless way they approach any new business opportunity.
